You can permanently delete your Sabari Matrimony account and all associated data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted and how to request it, whether or not you still have the app installed.
1. Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Open the Sabari Matrimony app and sign in
- Go to Account
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Type DELETE to confirm, enter your password, and submit
This is a permanent, immediate deletion — it cannot be undone, and it does not require contacting support.
2. Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, or are unable to sign in, email us and we will delete your account on your behalf after verifying your identity:

Subject line: "Delete My Account – [Your Registered Mobile Number]"
Please email from an address you can be reached at, and include your registered mobile number so we can locate and verify your account. We will confirm once your account and data have been deleted, typically within 7 business days.
3. What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile, photos, and horoscope/jathagam details
- Your partner preferences and search history
- Messages, contact requests, and contact reveals with other members
- Shortlists, recently-viewed profiles, and notifications
- Your account credentials and login access
Data we may retain
Some information may be retained for a limited period after deletion where required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention and financial record-keeping (e.g., payment records required under Indian tax law). Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for matching or shown to other members. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Google Play subscriptions are separate from your account. Deleting your Sabari Matrimony account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. To stop future billing, cancel your subscription directly in Google Play: Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Sabari Matrimony → Cancel.
